Santa Fe Opera’s Opera Makes Sense program

  • Saturday, February 24, 2018
  • 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Santa Fe Children’s Museum at 1050 Old Pecos Trail
The Santa Fe Opera’s upcoming Opera Makes Sense program has been created just for children ages three to five to explore the world of opera through a variety of activities and games. Participants move from station to station based upon their own personal interest. Through poetry, music, and dance, and with costumes and art activities related to scenery and props, the objective is for the children to experience opera through their five senses. The program is free and will be presented at two locations in February and March. On Saturdays February 3 and 10, Opera Makes Sense will be at the Santa Fe Public Library Southside at 6599 Jaguar Drive. On Saturdays February 17 and 24, and March 3, the program will be held at the Santa Fe Children’s Museum at 1050 Old Pecos Trail. All programs will start at 10:30AM and conclude at noon.
