Who Are We? (continued)
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, which has existed since 1965 and which is dedicated to supporting the work of The Santa Fe Opera's Education and Community Programs Department.
Currently, six member guilds exist throughout the State, and their aim is to present to their members a variety of educational and social programs to encourage a broad appreciation of the art of opera in general and for the work of The Santa Fe Opera in particular.

From South to North. we are in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Vegas (NM), Los Alamos, EspaƱola, and Taos.
What Do We Do? (continued)
In their nearly 50 years of existance, the guilds have initiated a variety of programs and continue (with volunteers in general) to work in collaboration with the company. These include:
* Acting as chaperons for the Opera's "Youth Nights".
* Hosting the Preview Buffet Dinners at the Dapples Pavilion during the season.
* Staffing the summer season backstage tour program. (Monday to Friday, 9am)
* Hosting the Saturday morning "Opera Insiders" breakfasts and back stage tours during the summer opera season.
How to Join an Opera Guild (continued)
We offer membership in any one of the six opera guilds shown on the map above. Alternatively, for those who live outside the areas covered by the existing guilds, or who are part-time residents, we offer National Membership in the Santa Fe Opera Guild.
